Leavenworth Ski Hill Plant Walk

Difficulty Level: Easy, with about 500’ elevation gain
Limit: 15 participants
Preparation: Wear hiking boots, bring water and snacks, and dress in layers for the weather.
Join Connie McCauley to explore the Ski Hill area, looking at wildflowers, trees and shrubs, especially those native to our area. On this walk you will search for the Phantom orchids as well as two other orchid species. Plant lists and plant identification handouts will be available for this 2-3 hour walk.
Connie has explored these hills for 40 years and enjoys sharing her local knowledge with all ages and backgrounds.
