Located in the heart of the Cascade mountains and the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, LWSC offers an alpine ski area with two rope tows, ski jumping hill, tubing hill and 26 kilometers of Nordic trails. Summer time is also full of fun activities such as mountain biking, hiking and the Leavenworth Summer Theater.

Preparing and Packing for Your Winter Trip

Planning for a Winter trip is much different than a Summer trip! A typical Winter day in Leavenworth can have a high temperature of 25 degrees with lows in the single digits! Be prepared by bringing lots of warm clothing and lots of layers. Items we recommend are long underwear, a down jacket, warm mittens or gloves, warm winter boots and a beanie or warm cap. You may also want to pack a sled and some snow pants to enjoy our sledding hill at the Leavenworth Golf Course!

Mountain/Leavenworth Tips

The mountains in Winter can be beautiful but you also need to be prepared. Make sure to have comfortable and warm clothing for walking around in and also bring lots of layers! When shopping in downtown Leavenworth, you may get quite warm going into the shops. When you are prepared, the trip is that much better!
