Once again-excellent grooming and skiing

Skate conditions are great, but every once in a while there's an icy spot lurking under the corduroy.

The trail hasn't been groomed in a few days and still has a bunch of needles and pine cones scattered about. The skate deck is holding up ok, but in addition to tree droppings there are lots of deer droppings and icy divots where they've bedded down. The Classic tracks have seen better days. In a nutshell, if you want to zone out and get in a groove you're better off aiming for Ski Hill or the IRT. If you're in the mood for adventure skiing, head out to the GC.

Hero snow and excellent grooming

Snow is excellent as is the grooming but the high winds during the night have put a bunch of debris on the trail.  Pine needles and branches everywhere.

The snow is really soft but amazingly fast. Can still find corduroy on the side trails.
