Morning Skiers,
Grooming took place under overcast skies and freezing temperatures.
Its been a great season so far but we are getting near the end. This will be closing weekend for Alpine at Ski Hill and Sledding at the Golf Course. We will continue to groom Nordic trails as long as the snow allows for good skiing. Please help us remove pine cones from the trails as much as possible as they get caught in the combs and make large ruts. Thank You!
The Icicle River Trails are groomed today for Skate and Classic today. Travis said it came out good this morning and they are Groomers Choice for today!
Ski Hill is groomed for just Alpine today as we are preparing for Sundays pond skim.
The Golf Course was groomed for today for Skate and Classic. Travis said they came out OK but the corduroy is a little choppy.Sledding and Snowshoeing are open today but this will be closing weekend for Sledding. Nordic will continue till until the snow gets thin enough that we will risk damaging the turf.
Our groomers define choppy as a flat surface but the corduroy is inconsistent and some grooming machine tracks can be seen through to the surface.
