Hog Loppet

Online Registration Will Open November 1, 2010.

Route Description

The Hog Loppet is a non-competitive 30k Ski Trek from the top of Mission Ridge Ski Area to Blewett Pass.  We strongly recommend using the shuttle bus service provided.  It is not an event for first time skiers because there is some steep terrain and ungroomed conditions.  Please read the route description below.

          LWSC Members receive a $5 registration discount.

Shuttle Bus 

  • From Leavenworth:  Bus leaves at 6 a.m. from DOT lot next to Leavenworth Mountain Sports.
  • From Wenatchee:  Bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. from Wenatchee Convention Center
  • Shuttle space is limited and must be pre-paid. Check website for availability.
  • Important!  We use school buses for some routes.  No bathrooms on these.
  • If you want to ride with a friend, just show up at the same time.
  • Return buses leave Blewett Pass starting at 1:30 p.m.  Please load ASAP.

Event Check In - Same Day Registration

  • 7:00-8:00AM at Mission Ridge's Hampton Lodge
  •  Late or Same Day Registration:  Please allow time to wait in line and make the last chair.

Chairlift Schedule

  • 7:30-8:30AM.  Chairlift boarding will not be allowed after 8:30AM.  No exceptions!

Communication

  • Bring your radio.  The Family Frequency will  be Channel 3 sub channel 10. 

 

After Party

Time to shake out those tired muscles at the Leavenworth Festhalle!

REFUNDS

Our refund disclosure is included on the registration form.  Registration fees are non-refundable due to nonparticipation by participant’s choice. Registration fees may be partially refundable due to event cancellation caused by unsafe conditions. Paid registrations cannot be transferred to another person.  If you cancel and have ordered a shirt it will be mailed to you unless you live in the Upper Valley area.  In that case you must pick it up at our Icicle River Trail office by March 5th.  We will charge $5 to mail the shirt.
